The
Mrs. America Pageant system is announcing that 36th annual Mrs. Ohio
America Pageant will be held on April 1st at the spectacular US Bank
Theater in the Ohio Union on the Ohio State University Campus, in
Columbus. The winner of the state
competition will receive a prize package valued at over $10,000.00 and
advance on to compete with 49 other state delegates at the national Mrs.
America Pageant.
Celebrating
its 36th year, the Mrs. America Pageant is the only nationally
televised competition to recognize the one person who contributes so
much to modern family life…America’s Married Woman! While
beauty and physical fitness are key elements in the competition, Mrs.
Ohio America state finalists are also urged to voice their opinions on
marriage, community and important issues of the day.

Now celebrating its 36th year in its modern format,
the Mrs. America Pageant is the only nationally televised pageant for
married women. It focuses the attention of the nation and the world on
the versatility of the contemporary American married woman. Each of the
51 Mrs. America candidates earns the right to participate in the
national event by winning her statewide competition.
This is the perfect time of year to turn a dream
into a reality. The Mrs. Ohio America Pageant is well underway
preparing for the upcoming pageant. Columbus, Ohio will serve as our
host city for the March 31, 2012 and April 1, 2012 event. The Mrs.
Ohio America Organization will be awarding over $15,000 in prizes.
